Demand Planner – Tolling Manager North America
Purpose
Leads the demand planning process to ensure demand forecasts align with business goals. Manages toll manufacturing relationships, scheduling, and planning while driving advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across demand planning and toll contract processes.
Principal Responsibilities

Demand Planner – Tolling Manager:
Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of demand forecasts using advanced statistical models with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate market intelligence, sales input, customer insights, and promotional activity into forecasts.
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning demand and supply and preparing documentation to support decision-making.
Manage and optimize demand planning systems and tools.
Present demand forecasts, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
Toll Manufacturing Strategy:
Develop toll manufacturing strategy in alignment with Operations and Commercial teams by:
Evaluating the current portfolio and identifying subcontracting opportunities
Positioning toll manufacturing as a strategic capacity lever by proactively monitoring supply constraints and regional market conditions
Develop tolling assessments and qualification criteria to onboard new toll manufacturers with validated technologies.
Establish and maintain mutually beneficial tolling agreements.
Build and maintain a regional tolling catalog, including current and potential tolled items, technologies, and details aligned with the allocation matrix.
Mentor and train demand planners.

Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
4-10 years of experience in demand planning or a related role
Advanced proficiency in demand planning software and Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of MS Office, BI, BO, Google tools, and SAP (ECC, ERP/MRP)
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred
Ability to achieve results through formal and informal channels
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong negotiation and issue-resolution skills
Agility and flexibility when solving complex issues
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
